An off-duty Temple Police Officer was reportedly injured during a hit and run incident in North Philadelphia late last night.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at 12th Street and Lehigh Avenue at around 11 p.m. on Thursday night.
According to police, another vehicle collided with the Temple Officer’s SUV at the intersection. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene after the crash. The officer was taken to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
No description of the hit and run vehicle was reported. The driver of the car has not been located or arrested at this time.
