An unidentified male reported to be in his 30’s, is in critical condition after being shot in the Parkside section of the city last night.
A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened on the 5200 block of Lansdowne Avenue, near Lancaster Avenue at around 11:50 p.m. on Monday night.
Police were called to the scene for a report of gunshots in the area. They found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, lying near a parked SUV. Police said a set of keys were found on the hood of the vehicle. Several shell casings and a cell phone were also found near the SUV. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
