The Philadelphia Eagles walked into the Linc last night and did what they were supposed to do…….and so did the Giants!

The Eagles went into last night’s Divisional Round playoff game against the New York Giants as a 7.5 point favorite. They played like it during the Eagles 38-7 blowout win against the Giants……who, for some strange reason thought they were now better than the bum ass Giants team we beat twice during the regular season. They found out that the Eagles are still the royalty of the NFC East. It’s like when you have to slap a younger sibling around a bit, just to remind them their place around here! The New York Giants got slapped around at the Linc last night.

Jalen Hurts capped off the Eagles’ first possession of the game with a 16-yard TD pass to TE Dallas Goedert, who made a lovely one-handed grab in the back of the end zone. After that first score, the game continued to go that way. To make a long story short, the Giants were outmatched in every way imaginable.

The Eagles offense was led by Jalen Hurts who went 16-24 for 154 yards and two TD’s. Running back, Kenneth Gainwell also had a huge night, racking up 112 yards on 12 carries. Devonta Smith finished with 6 catches for 61 yards and a touchdown. Who cares about the Giants stats? THEY LOST!

The Eagles now wait for the winner of the Cowboys/49ers Divisional round playoff game today. I would love to have the Cowboys come to the Linc next week and watch them cry tears as their Super Bowl dreams are crushed right before our eyes, but the Cowboys will probably lose against the 49ers later on today, anyway! So, I guess we’ll see ya’ll next week 49ers. WE WILL BE WAITING!
