TRIPLE SHOOTING IN WISSINOMING LEAVES TEEN DEAD

A triple shooting in the Wissinoming section of the city last night, reportedly left a teenager dead and seriously injured two adults.

A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on the 2000 block of Brill Street at around 6 p.m. on Thursday evening.

The 16-year old teen was reportedly rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital where he died a short time later from his injuries. The report did not say how man times, or where the teen was hit by gunfire. The other two victims of the triple-shooting were a 35 and 42-year old male, who were both also hit by gunfire. They were both rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital. The 42-year old victim was last reported to be in critical condition. The 35-year old was last reported to be in stable condition. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.

No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
