A man reportedly opened fire from the top of his car in the middle of rush hour traffic, in Center City this morning.

A CBS-3 Philly report said the incident happened at 15th & Market Streets at around 8 a.m. on Monday morning.

A man reportedly stopped his green Toyota Avalon in the middle of the street, before exiting the vehicle and jumping onto the roof of the car. Police investigators said the man then pulled out a gun and opened fire…..until his weapon jammed. At that point he sat on the hood of his car. Police took the suspect into custody without incident shortly afterward. No injuries were reported.

15th Street was closed from Vine Street to Chestnut Street due to the shooting. The all clear was given at some point in the morning, and the roads have since been reopened.
