Philadelphia born rapper, Meek Mill, was in the holiday spirit this week, as he paid bail for 20 women who were incarcerated, unable to make bail, and in danger of spending the holidays away from their children and loved ones. CBS-3 Philly reported that the donation came by way of Reform Alliance, which is a non-profit organization that Meek launched in 2019.

“The average working person, to lose your job, to lose your household over a technical violation that would drive you back to poverty and put you in a mental state where it would be hard for you to move forward. And we’re working on probation and parole because I was affected by it”, Meek said.
Each woman also reportedly received a gift card to purchase groceries for the holiday.
