14-YEAR OLD SHOT ON FRONT PORCH WHILE TAKING OUT TRASH IN NORTH PHILLY

A 14-year old male was reportedly shot on the front porch of his home as he was taking out the trash in North Philadelphia last night. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened on the 2100 block of West York Street at around 10:30 p.m. on Monday night.

The teen was shot once in the back as a gunman opened fire as the teen stood on the front porch of the home. Investigators say there were 8 people inside of the home at the time of the shooting. No one else was reported injured. The teen was rushed to a nearby hospital by family members. He was last reported to be in stable condition. The teen’s family said they believe the shooting is connected to an argument that started at school.

No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
