An unidentified man was reportedly shot and killed in the Frankford section of the city this morning. A Fox-29 Philadelphia report said the incident happened near a Septa station on the 4700 block of Oxford Avenue on Sunday morning.
First arriving police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to the hospital where he died a short time later. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
