A 31-year old man was reportedly shot and killed outside of a school in the Port Richmond section of the city last night. A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened near the entrance to the Memphis Street Academy Charter School, located on the 2900 block of Memphis Street, at around 11:30 p.m. on Friday night.
A 31-year old man was shot multiple times before climbing into the passenger’s seat of a car. Police said they had to bust the car’s windows to retrieve the unconscious victim. He was then rushed to the hospital where he died as a result of his injuries shortly after arriving. A possible motive for the shooting was not reported.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
