A 25-year old man was reportedly shot and killed in Northeast Philadelphia this morning. According to a report from Fox-29 Philly, the shooting happened on the 2000 block of Carver Street at around 10:12 a.m. on Friday morning.
First responding police officers at the scene reported finding the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Police rushed the victim to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he died shortly after arriving.
A 26-year old man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody. A weapon was not recovered.
