Four suspects traveling in a stolen Cadillac SUV reportedly crashed in the Port Richmond section of the city last night, killing a man in a wheelchair and injuring 2 more people. An NBC-10 Philly report said the incident happened near Castor & Aramingo Avenues at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

Investigators said the stolen Cadillac crashed into two cars before hitting the 38-year old victim in the wheel chair, who was reportedly “panhandling” at the time of the accident. He (the victim) was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries shortly after arriving.

A woman and an 11-year old girl traveling in one of the vehicles that were hit, were taken to the hospital and are expected to be ok, according to the report.

Police said four suspects jumped out of the SUV and took off running after the crash. Three got away. A 19-year old was arrested and charged with multiple offenses related to the incident.
