MAN CHARGED WITH VEHICULAR HOMICIDE FOR RUNNING MAN OVER AFTER ARGUMENT

22-year old, Frederick Falcone, from Philadelphia has been charged with vehicular homicide and other related charges, for hitting a man with his car and killing him, outside of a bar in Northeast Philly over the weekend. A KYW-News Radio report said the incident happened outside of a bar on Comly Road near Roosevelt Boulevard at around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning.

Investigators said 24-year old, Jason Corona from Virginia was at the bar celebrating the return of a family member from military deployment, with his family when an altercation broke out between himself and Falcone. Outside in the parking lot, Falcone reportedly jumped in his car, sped through the parking lot, and hit Corona. Corona was rushed to the hospital where he died from his injuries a short time later.

Falcone was arrested and charged with third-degree murder, homicide by vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident when someone dies, involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and other related counts.
