A home invasion in the Frankford section of the city early this morning, reportedly netted the suspect thousands of dollars in cash. A CBS-Philly report said the incident happened at a home on Ryan Avenue near Crispin Street at around 12:45 a.m. on Monday morning.
An armed man reportedly broke into the home through the dining room window. He pointed his gun at a 30-year old woman and demanded money. The suspect reportedly fled after grabbing around $40,000 in cash and a cell phone. The woman was not injured in the home invasion.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
