19-year old Nazir Anderson, from Philadelphia has been arrested, and two more people are being sought in connection to a double-shooting in Yeadon over the weekend. A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened on Guenther Avenue & Church Lane shortly before midnight on Saturday.

According to the police report, there was a party being thrown at an event space around the corner from the shooting. Violence inside of the event spilled out into the streets, at which point more than 60-shots were fired from multiple shooters. The shooting reportedly happened right inside of a municipal parking lot that houses a mini-police department.
“They not only fired 60-rounds, killing these two poor people. But they even shot into their prone bodies. They stood over them in the parking lot and shot into their prone bodies”, said Delaware County District Attorney, Jack Stollsteimer.
Police said the two victims were a 20-year old man and a 21-year old woman, who were reportedly a couple. Police found Anderson hiding inside of a car at the scene. He was linked to the shooting through the gun that was found on him and the bullets found at the scene. Investigators said they are looking for at least three more suspects. A motive for the shooting has not been reported.
