A shootout in the Olney section of the city early this morning left a 20-year old man critically wounded. A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened at 5th & Raymond Streets at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday morning.
According to the police report, at least 7-shots were fired from two sides of the street. Police found the 20-year old victim several blocks away from the crime scene, on the 4500 block of Reese Street. He was rushed to Temple University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg. He was last reported to be in critical condition.
A 22-year old man believed to be involved in the shootout was arrested at the scene. An investigation is ongoing..
