A 22-year old woman was reportedly shot inside of a home in the Southwest Philadelphia section of the city yesterday. A Fox-29 Philly report said the shooting happened inside of a home on the 6700 block of Guyer Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
The victim was reportedly shot once in the chest. She was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where she was last reported to be in critical condition. A weapon was found at the scene and a suspect was reportedly taken into custody. No other details about the shooting has been released at this time.
Police said the shooting is still under investigation.
