A 36-years old homeless man was reportedly shot multiple times during an apparent robbery in Northeast Philadelphia last night. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened in a vacant lot near the 8800 block of Frankford Avenue at around 2 :30 a.m. Thursday morning.
According to police, two men on a motorcycle pulled up to the victim, who had a mountain bike. One of the suspects pulled out a gun, shot the victim, and stole his mountain bike. One of the suspects rode away on the mountain bike, the other fled the scene on the motorcycle. The victim was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
