A man from Philadelphia who was wanted for a homicide, was arrested in Maine’s State Capital of Auburn on Tuesday. A report from WMTW-8 ABC News said, 43-year old, Earl Hassan, was a passenger in a car that was originally pulled over for an expired registration on Kittyhawk Avenue at around 11 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Police said Hassan gave them a fake I.D., but his identity was still confirmed shortly afterward. Hassan was in possession of an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine and $25,000 in cash when searched during the traffic stop. Another pound of cocaine and drug paraphernalia were reportedly recovered from a home connected to Hassan.
Hassan is expected to be extradited back to Philly to face homicide charges.
