An argument that escalated into a fist fight between two co-workers in the parking lot of a supermarket left one of the co-workers dead, early this morning in the Oxford Circle section of the city. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened in the parking lot of the Shop-Rite on the 6300 block of Oxford Avenue at around 3 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Investigators said the two street cleaners began yelling at one another from their trucks. The men reportedly exited their trucks a few moments later and continued the argument. One of the men reportedly pulled out a gun and shot the other in the chest.
The victim died at the scene. The shooter remained at the scene after the shooting, and is currently in police custody, according to the report.
