Former Advisor to Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, was sentenced to four months in federal prison this afternoon. A report from Mother Jones said Bannon was sentenced for two counts of contempt of Congress after he refused to comply with a subpoena from the House Committee investigating the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.
District Court Judge Carl Nichols agreed with a motion by Bannon’s attorney, that Bannon’s sentencing will be delayed until all of Bannon’s appeals of the sentence are exhausted.
