A woman was found dead after a house fire in North Philly this afternoon. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened on the 1100 block of Jefferson Street at around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters reported finding the dead woman after putting out the blaze coming from the first floor of a two-story residence at around 4 p.m. The victim has not yet been identified.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
