17-year old, Zyied Jones, was arrested this morning, in connection with a shooting at Roxborough High school last month, that left 14-year old, Nicolas Elizadle dead. A CBS-3 Philly report said Jones’s charges include murder, 4 counts of aggravated assault, conspiracy, and violations of the firearms act.
Police said they executed a search warrant of a home that Jones was reportedly staying at. Police said Jones was taken into custody without incident. No police or civilians were injured during the serving of the warrant.
Jones’ arrest comes less than 24-hours after 21-year old, co-defendant, Yaseen Bivins was arrested and slapped with the same charges for the shooting on Wednesday. Police say at least 4 other suspects remain at large.
