A man and woman were reportedly injured during a shooting in the South Philly section of the city early this morning. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at 8th & Snyder Streets shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the area for a report of gunshots. Police found no victims when they arrived, but were told that two injured individuals were taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
A 26-year old man was shot in the abdomen. He was last reported to be in stable condition. A woman, reported to be in her mid 20’s, was grazed by a bullet in the hip. There was no word on a possible motive for the shooting, or if the victims were the intended targets.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
