An 18-year old male was reportedly shot on the platform of a Septa Station in Center City early this morning. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened on the platform at the 15th & Market Street Septa Station at around 3:50 a.m. on Thursday morning.
The victim was reportedly shot in the ankle and leg. He flagged down police near the Clothespin sculpture after being shot. Police transported the victim to a nearby hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition.
The victim told police he was with a group of people when the shooting started. Investigators say the shooting may have been the result of an argument.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
