A three-car crash in North Philly yesterday, ended with one person left dead and another injured. A report from 6 ABC Action News said the incident happened at Broad & Venango Streets at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday evening.

According to police, a three car pile-up occurred at the location. After a brief argument, a physical altercation reportedly broke out between several people. Police said that six gunshots were fired at some point during the fight.
Investigators said the 33-year old man and the 38-year old man were riding in a SUV when their vehicle was almost crashed into and grazed by a green car at 2nd Street & Erie Avenue. The SUV chased the green car until they finally caught up with the driver at Broad & Venango, when the green car hit another vehicle. The two men in the SUV reportedly got out of their vehicle, had a few words with the driver of the green car, and then began assaulting him. Police say that’s when the driver of the green car began letting off shots from his gun.
The 33-year old man was reportedly hit in the chest several times. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he later died. The 38-year old man was shot in the leg before running away. The victim was last reported to be in stable condition. No other injuries were reported.
The driver of the green car has not been identified or arrested at this time.
