A man and woman were shot during a double shooting that took place inside of a Southwest Philly home early this morning. A CBS-3 Philly report said the incident happened on the 5800 block of Angora Terrace at around 5:15 a.m. on Monday morning.
Police said they found the 48-year old female victim in the hallway on the second floor. She was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the back. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 50-year old male victim was found in the second floor bedroom. He was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and a scar to the eye. He was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition. Police did not give any word on a possible motive for the shooting.
Police said two firearms were recovered at the scene, but no suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
