Two men were shot during a double shooting in the Rhawnhurst neighborhood overnight, leaving one of the victims dead at the scene….for a short while. A report from Fox-29 Philadelphia said the incident happened on the 1900 block of Lansing Street at around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning.
First responding Police Officers at the scene found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One man was initially pronounced dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics miraculously performed a successful resuscitation, managing to bring the victim back to life, before rushing him to the hospital, along with male victim number two, who was shot in the neck.
Both victims were last reported to be in critical condition. Police did not give any word on a possible motive for the shooting. Witnesses reported seeing a man fleeing the scene after the shooting in a black car. No arrests have been made at this time.
