A Super Bowl performance with Rihanna as the headliner of the halftime show is scheduled to take place at this year’s big event. A CBS-3 report said Rihanna turned down the opportunity to perform at the Super Bowl in 2019, as she continued to show support for Colin Kaepernick.
I couldn’t dare do that. For what? Who gains from that? Not my people. I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler. There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all, and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way”, Rihanna said, when asked why she would not be accepting the invitation to perform at the Super Bowl in 2019.
