The teenage victim was found in the backseat of a vehicle. He’d been shot a total of 6 times. Two times in the chest, twice in the back, once in the arm, and once in the head. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died hours after arriving.

According to police, two other 18-year olds were found in the car with the victim. One reportedly admitted to being the shooter.

“We have some information that the two 18-year olds’ were driving their vehicle from another part of town to possibly purchase some sort of game advertised online by a third 18-year old”, said Chief Inspector D.F. Pace.

Police also believe a shootout may have taken place inside of the car when the seller attempted to rob the two other teens.

Police said an investigation is ongoing. No arrests were reported at this time.
