Actress Nia Long was reportedly “blindsided” by the news of an alleged affair between her fiance, and father of her 10-year old son, Ime Udoka, and a married front office staffer for the Boston Celtics. According to a report from TMZ, Long went house shopping and moved to Boston with her 10-year old son to be with Udoka, Head Coach of the NBA’s Boston Celtics.
Long moved to Boston just two weeks ago, and learned of the affair a few days ago, like most people in the public. It was reported that Udoka was aware that the team was investigating the alleged affair since June.
The Boston Celtics made the suspension official when the announcement that Udoku was being suspended for the entire 2022-2023 season on Thursday night.
“I want to apologize to our players, fans, the entire Celtic organization, and my family for letting them down. I am sorry for putting the team in this difficult situation, and I accept the team’s decision. Out of respect for everyone involved, I will have no further comment” Udoku said in response to news of the season-long suspension and alleged affair.
