A 24-year old man was reportedly electrocuted when he fell onto the train tracks at a PATCO Station in Center City this morning. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened at the 8th & Market Street Patco Station at around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The victim reportedly came in contact with the electrified third rail when he fell onto the tracks. He was rescued from the track area and rushed to a nearby hospital where he died as a result of being electrocuted. The Delaware River Port Authority said the incident is under investigation.
