The boy was reportedly struck in the leg by a bullet that entered the house from outside. Investigators reported finding four bullet holes in the home. The child was home with his mother, who was not injured in the incident. The child was rushed to an area hospital where he was last reported to be in stable condition.

A 17-year old was arrested with a loaded gun nearby, but police said they do not believe he was the person who shot at the home. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
