Six people were injured after what police called a “drag race” in North Philadelphia overnight ended in a violent crash. A 6 ABC Action News report said the crash happened on the 3400 block of North Broad Street at around 2:30 a.m. early on Saturday morning.
Two vehicles were reportedly racing on Broad Street at a high rate of speed when one of the cars crashed into a woman’s SUV who was attempting to turn onto Ontario Avenue. The crash reportedly ejected the woman from her vehicle.
All 6 of the injured were taken to Temple University Hospital. There was no word on their conditions. No arrests were reported.
