U.S Customs & Border patrol reportedly seized 82 Kilos of cocaine, with a street value of $1.3 million from a passenger plane that arrived at Philadelphia International Airport, coming from the Dominican Republic. A Fox-29 Philadelphia report said U.S Customs & Border Patrol made the discovery on August 12th, during a routine inspection.

CPB Officers are reported to routinely inspect aircraft landing from locations overseas. During one of these “routine inspections”, officers discovered 16 brick-shaped items underneath a blanket on a passenger plane that had arrived from Santo Domingo.
An investigation is reportedly ongoing, but no one has been charged or arrested in connection with the cocaine at this time.
