A 23-year old woman is in critical condition and fighting for her life, after being shot in the North Philly section of the city this morning. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident happened on Darien Street near Susquehanna Avenue at around 10 a.m. on Sunday morning.
According to the police report, the 23-year old female victim was shot while sitting inside of a parked car on Darien Street. A 28-year old man who was standing nearby was reportedly also shot. The report did not say where the man was hit, but he was last reported to be in stable condition and recovering at a nearby hospital. Police did not give any word on a possible motive for the shooting.
No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
