26-year old, Joelil Foy, a founding member of the singing group “Brotherly Love” was shot and killed as he sat on his steps in South Philly last night. A 6 ABC Action News report said the shooting happened Wednesday night on the 1800 block of Sigel Street.

According to police, Foy was the intended target of the shooter.
“A sole shooter comes up the street, we believe as he is sitting on the steps, and fires at him. So we know he was the intended target”, said Capt. John Walker of the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group.
A motive for the shooting is still being investigated. No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
