The wedding reception taking place inside of the venue had about 50 guests in total, when a fight broke out between several individuals, including two women who were fighting one another. The two women decided to take their personal brawl outside and continue fighting. Instead, once outside, one of the women pulled out a gun and shot the other in the leg.

The 26-year old shooting victim was taken to Temple University Hospital where she was last reported to be in stable condition. The alleged shooter fled the scene, possibly on foot. Police believe the suspect left her vehicle parked at the venue when she fled the scene.

According to police, the shooting did not stop the festivities, which were still in full bloom when police arrived on scene. Investigators were forced to stop the party in order to interview potential witnesses, including the bride and groom.

Police investigators say they are confident that they will track the suspect down shortly. As for now, the suspect remains on the lam.
