38-year old, U.S. citizen, Bradley Robert Dawson, was arrested by police in Nadi, Fiji, and charged in connection with the death of his wife two days earlier. An ABC News report said 36-year old, U.S. Citizen, Christe Chen, was found lying motionless, by staff, inside of her room at the exclusive Turtle Island Private Resort, on July 9th.
Management at the resort alerted authorities after discovering Chen’s body. Paramedics declared Chen dead at the scene. Police investigators quickly determined that Chen had been beaten to death.
Dawson is being charged with one count of murder. He is currently incarcerated at the Fiji Corrections Services/Lautoka. Dawson’s next court date is scheduled for July 27th, when his attorney is expected to ask for a bail for his client.
