A 19-year old man was reportedly shot multiple times thus afternoon, as he stood on a platform at the 15th Street Septa Station in Center City. A 6 ABC Action News report said the incident began at around 12:24 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, when two people exiting a train, exchanged a few heated words with the 19-year old victim.
The victim and one of the men both pulled guns. The 19-year old victim was reportedly hit in the right hand, chest, and stomach. He was rushed to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition.
Transit police at the scene responded immediately, but the suspects were able to elude police as they blended in with the lunch-time traffic in Center City.
No description of the suspects were given in the report and no arrests have been made at this time.
