A so far, unconfirmed rumor has just popped up on the “Online/Social Media” Streets! A Yahoo!.com report was my official “street” source for this, piece of tea? Maybe pot of tea would’ve fit better there. Doesn’t sound as cool though, does it?
Hip-Hop artist, Gunna, who is currently being held behind bars for his alleged involvement in a R.I.C.O case out of Atlanta, that includes Grammy Award winning Hip-Hop artist, Young Thug, who is accused of being the boss of the alleged criminal enterprise, was allegedly named in some extra-curricular activities going on in an Atlanta jail.
Prosecutors said, that on May 14th, a woman who was only identified as “a nurse” was caught attempting to smuggle a bag containing an undisclosed amount of cocaine, marijuana, and other paraphernalia into the prison. There was no explanation in the report as to how, but prison officials made the claim that some of the items in the bag were supposed to be delivered to Gunna, who is already in enough other trouble. The rapper’s lawyer called the allegations against his client inaccurate.
“None of the allegations made today, are accurate”, Gunna’s attorney, Steve Sadow, said to 2-WSB-TV Atlanta, as he left the courtroom.
Gunna has already been denied bond twice. During both bond denials, prosecutors made claims of witnesses being placed in direct danger if Gunna was released from jail on bond. A judge agreed with prosecutors….both times.
Unless something drastic happens, Gunna will likely be in jail until at least January 2023, when the R.I.C.O trial for Gunner, Thugger, and other YSL members is set to begin.
