Police said a 22-year old woman was alone in the office when the suspect entered the unlocked office of the law firm, and sexually assaulted the victim, according to the police report.

According to the police report, the suspect entered the office pretending to be looking for someone. The victim said she didn’t know the name he was inquiring about. The suspect then demanded that the 22-year old victim sit in a chair. He then reportedly began to rummage through the office. The victim offered the suspect her earrings and Airpods, in the hope that he would take them and leave. He didn’t. Instead, the suspect beat and choked the victim after being frustrated when the victim screamed for help. That was when the suspect reportedly sexually assaulted and raped the woman. The attack was only stopped when it was interrupted by a co-worker who was returning back to the office after being out at lunch. The suspect fled the scene when the co-worker showed up.

Police gave a description of the suspects clothes. A black baseball cap, a black shirt, and blue jeans. Police also said they have some surveillance video of the incident, but was hoping one of the other offices in the building have more surveillance of the suspect and his movements once inside the building.

The suspect was still on the loose at last reporting on Wednesday afternoon 7/6/2022.
