Two men were reportedly charged with murder, after after a house explosion in Black Jack, Mo, that killed a total of four people. According to an Associated Press report, says prosecutors in St. Louis charged 37-year old, Terrell Cooks and 43-year old, Seneca Mahan. With 3 counts of second degree murder on Friday. By the time Saturday rolled around, Mahan and Cooks were being charged with a 4th count of second degree murder, after one of the victims who’d been hospitalized, died on Saturday morning.

The St. Louis Prosecutor’s Office alleged that Cooks and Mahan made fireworks, and directed younger people on how to load the canisters and attach a fuse for lighting. They would then sell the fireworks to others. The Prosecutor’s Office said the pair did not have a license to sell fireworks.

The victims of Friday night’s incident/explosion have been identified as 16-year old Travell Eason, 17-year old Christopher Jones, 17-year old Damarius Cooks, and 21-year old William Jones. A 12-year old was also reportedly injured in the explosion that killed 4. The child’s name and condition has not been released to the public. There are reportedly other who are still hospitalized after the explosion that killed four, rocked the other houses on the block.

Cooks and Mahan are being held on $350,000 cash bail, apiece. Investigators say they saw Cooks moving boxes of chemicals used to make explosives, to his vehicle after the explosion on Friday. Police said they found more chemicals and “completed explosive weapons and components to manufacture them” when the searched Cooks’ home and other vehicles.
