QUADRUPLE SHOOTING IN PORT RICHMOND LEAVES TWO WOMEN DEAD AFTER BEING SHOT IN THE HEAD

Four people were reportedly shot in the Port Richmond section of the city as the Memorial Day Weekend was winding down. According to a WPHL-17 report, the incident happened at around 1:18 a.m. on Monday night, on the 2900 block of East Tioga Street.

An unknown woman believed to be between 20-25 years old, was shot once in the head. She was rushed to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

A second woman was reportedly shot twice in the head. The 22-year old victim was also rushed to Temple University hospital. She was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

A 14-year old girl was reportedly shot in the shoulder in the same incident. She was taken to St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital via private vehicle. The teen was last reported to be in stable condition.

A 21-year old man was the final victim of the quadruple shooting. He was reportedly shot in the left thigh, three times. He was transported to Temple Hospital where he was last reported to be in critical condition.

No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
