Four people were reportedly shot as they walked to a prom party last night in the Mantua section of the city. A 6 ABC Action News report said, the incident happened on the 3500 block of Fairmount Avenue at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
The four victims are a 19-year old man, a 19-year old woman, her 34-year old mother, and a 60-year old man. All of the victims were reportedly expected to live from their injuries, except for the 19-year old man. He was last reported to be in critical condition.
“We know at least nine shots were fired from a semi-automatic weapon. We found nine spent shell casings on the sidewalk and some on the front lawn of a property in the 3500 block of Fairmount” said Policde Chief Inspector, Scott Small.
Police said they are reviewing surveillance video from nearby businesses and homes, but no suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
