POLICE BELIEVE ARGUMENT LED TO MAN BEING SHOT & KILLED IN GERMANTOWN

A man was reportedly shot and killed in the Germantown section of the city last night. A report from WPHL-17 said the incident happened at around 9:10 p.m. on the 100 block of West Logan Street on Tuesday night.

The victim was a 37-year old male, who has been identified as Anton Ellis, from Germantown. Police said Ellis was shot in the back multiple times. He was transported to Temple University Hospital by private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead by doctors soon after arriving.

As police began investigating, they learned that the motive may have been an argument between the shooter and victim.

No suspects have been named and no arrest have been made at this time.
