In court filings this week, the Florida State’s Attorney’s Office notified Hakeem Robinson and Abdul Jr. Robinson, that their father is now cooperating with prosecutors, and have already given statements in the murders the brothers allegedly committed in 2020. According to a report from News-4 JAX, Abdul Robinson Sr. had been charged with being an accessory to the murders of Charles McCormick and Damon Rothermel. Sr. has been transferred to St. Johns County Jail after his cooperation agreement.
Hakeem Robinson, who goes by the stage name Ksoo is charged in the 2020 murder of alleged rap rival, Charles McCormick A.K.A. “Lil Buck”.
Damon Rothermel was killed by a stray bullet in an exchange of gunfire between two cars, in 2019. Hakeem Robinson was indicted on a first-degree charge of murder in March of this year, for the shooting.
Hakeem Robinson and Abdul Robinson Jr. will remain in the Duval County jail as they await trial. Abdul Robinson Sr’s case has been reset for a “status hearing” on August 15th. Abdul Robinson Sr. had been incarcerated at the same jail as his sons before he was transferred.
