A 30-year old man was reportedly shot and killed in a double shooting in West Philly last night. A report from 6 ABC Action News said, the incident happened on the 1400 block of North 55th Street at around 7:30 p.m.
The victim was reportedly shot multiple times throughout the body. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries at a later time.
A 17-yeard old male was also shot in the same shooting. He was transported to the hospital by private vehicle. The teen was last reported to be in stable condition. There was no word on where in the body, or how many times the teenager was shot.
Police say a weapon has been recovered, and there is a person of interest in police custody at the moment. The investigation remains active and is still ongoing, according to police.
