2 PEOPLE FOUND IN KENSINGTON WITH NECKS SLASHED; POLICE CALL DEATHS “SUSPICIOUS”

Philadelphia Police said they were investigating two deaths in the Kensington section of the city that they labeled “suspicious deaths”. According to a Fox-29 Philadelphia report, Two victims were found dead, with their necks slashed inside of a property on the 3000 block of North Ruth Street at around 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

The victims were reported to be a 45-year old man and a 30-year old woman, according to police. Responding officers also reported finding a knife at the scene of the crime. Police said the house is known to have been used for drug use and other activities in the past. Paramedics said the two bodies had been in the house for longer than a day, because they were already beginning to decompose.

No suspects have been named and no arrests have been made at this time.
