YOUNG THUG ARRESTED AND CHARGED IN MULTI-COUNT R.I.C.O INDICTMENT

30-year old, Jeffery Lamar Williams, A.K.A. Young Thug, was arrested at his Atlanta home early on Monday morning. According to a report from The Atlanta Journal Constitution, Thug is being charged in a 56-count state R.I.C.O indictment, that places Thug at the head of an organization that allegedly participated in criminal street gang activity for nearly a decade.

Williams was taken into custody this morning during a raid at his Buckhead, Atlanta home. The 28-person indictment also includes 28-year old, Segio Giavanni Kitchens, A.K.A “Gunna”, who is signed to Young Thug’s “Young Slime Life (YSL)” record label. Also taken down in the indictment was 22-year old, Christian Eppinger, A.K.A “Bhris” who is accused of shooting an Atlanta Police Officer back in February of this year.

Thug is alleged to be the leader of Young Slime Life, which authorities say is not only the name of his record label, it’s also the name of Thug’s criminal organization, that allegedly started in 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue area of Atlanta. Young Slime Life allegedly claims affiliation with the Bloods street gang.

The indictment accuses Williams of engaging in racketeering activity between January 2013 and May 2022. Prosecutors say the organization promoted and furthered the interest of the YSL crime organization thru social media and music.

One charge in the 56-count indictment claims, In 2015, Williams is accused of renting an Infinti Q50 sedan that was used in a drive-by murder, that killed an alleged rival gang member, Donovan Thomas. According to the indictment, Williams posted a video to social media 16 days after the murder, Williams said in the video, Others who “Tell the God’s honest truth” in the courtroom “need to get **** killed bro, from me and YSL”, according to the indictment. Williams is accused of being the undisputed leader of the YSL Organization and was in charge of overseeing a list of crimes that include murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, carjacking, drug possession and more…..
