Rapper Da Baby is facing felony assault charges for an alleged altercation that took place on set of a music video. According to a report from TMZ, the music video set, was an apartment Da Baby and his team rented for a week in December of last year.
The report went on to say, Gary Pager, who managed the property for the renters, was left with serious injuries after being assaulted by Da Baby and members of his team. Da Baby’s team member, Thankgod Awute, was charged with felony robbery in the incident.
Pager was reportedly attempting to enforce the house rules stated in the contract, that the guest limit was no more than 12 people. Da Baby was shooting a music video at the house, with well over 12-people inside, closer to 40, according to the complaint filed by Pager.
When pager attempted to shut the video shoot down, by talking to Da Baby, he was allegedly sucker punched by someone in Da Baby’s crew. After ordering the guy who sucker punched Pager to get off of him, Da Baby allegedly sucker punched Pager, knocking out his tooth, according to Pager’s lawsuit.
